As you come to Open House tonight, consider bringing a few classroom essentials to help our teachers stay stocked throughout the year. Good evening CMS families, A few details about tomorrow.... Camp Colt 12-2pm: 6th grade and any NEW 7/8 grader students. Students do not need to bring anything. This is an orientation where they get their schedule, do some team building and learn about CMS. Drop off/pick up at door C7. Parents do not need to walk them in (but can if they would like). You also do not need to come in to pick-up. Open House 3-6pm: This is for parents and students. ALL students can get their schedules, take a tour, meet their teachers, pay school fees, order spirit wear, deposit money into lunch accounts, complete background check, etc. Enter through doors A1 or C7. If your child attended CMS summer school and borrowed a chromebook and you have not yet returned it, please do so no later than July 30. Our front office summer hours are Monday-Thursday 7:30-3:30. Thank you!

Camp Colt is on August 11 from 12-2pm @ CMS for incoming 6th graders. 7th/8th graders are only permitted if they are brand new to CMS for the 26/27 school year. There is no fee to attend.

For students in summer school - Students must reach 100% completion in every summer school course they are enrolled in by the end of the day this coming Friday.

For clarification, students that are identified as gifted or scored 96% or higher in any of the MAP assessments for a specific content are automatically placed.

Good morning, Letters will be sent next week to the parents/guardians of students placed into advanced courses. MAP scores are used to determine placement based on district protocol.

Summer school students must sign on via clever through the BCS Bookmarks/Dashboard to access their course on Edgenuity. Their teacher will be listed here as well. Links to your teachers Google meet is posted on Canvas. They only need to access the Google meet if they have questions.

Good evening, Emails went out this past Thursday and Friday to guardians of students that are either being required or suggested to attend summer school. For those suggested, you must opt in by noon tomorrow by replying to the email sent by Mr. Ritchie or emailing him @ John.ritchie@boone.kyschools us. Once we have our lists finalized, we will email participating families about Chromebook pick up and further instructions regarding virtual summer school this summer.
